Why should we use humor at our event?

Laughter is one of the best ways of bringing a group together! Humor is a wonderful tool to ease the tension and stress that pervades today's workplace. And let's face it—people under great stress aren't always performing at their peak! What better way to reduce stress, increase creativity, and bring the team together than with a genuinely funny—and on target—presentation from Bill Stainton!

How do we know Bill's humor will be appropriate?

Unlike many corporate humorists, Bill is not a nightclub comedian moonlighting (sunlighting?) in the business world. Instead, Bill polished his comedic chops on television…where the humor has to be squeaky clean! As a businessman himself, Bill knows what's appropriate and what isn't. His main goal is to make you, the meeting planner, look good…and he knows that won't happen if the audience gets offended.

Are Bill's fees negotiable?

While Bill prefers to stick to his fee schedule, there are a number of things that could affect the final price: location of the event, multiple bookings, multiple programs at the same event (which will save you further travel and lodging costs!), barter arrangements, audio and/or video rights. To be honest, a fee reduction tends to be the exception rather than the rule…but it never hurts to ask!

How does Bill handle expenses?

Very poorly! Seriously…Bill hates handling expenses. So he doesn't. He doesn't want to deal with the extra paperwork, and he's pretty sure you don't either. So Bill covers his own expenses. All you pay for is Bill's fee, coach airfare, and lodging (which should be billed directly to your corporate account). That's it! It's clean, it's easy, and it makes your budgeting nightmares a thing of the past!

What does Bill need from me?

An hour (tops) on the phone; current and back issues of trade publications, newsletters, and reports; and contact information for your organization's big wigs (plus up to a dozen other event attendees). Oh…and a check!
